Resistance Road Trip to Impeachment March

Updated: Mar 7

We're taking our Resistance on the Road!

Please join us as we roadtrip to Austin on Sunday, July 2nd, 2017, to participate in solidarity with Impeachment March - Austin.  We've chartered a bus and would love for you to join us!

The bus takes off early, so that we may arrive in time for all of Impeachment March - Austin's planned festivities, but worry not; we'll let you nap on the way up if you like! Seats may be secured via a full price donation ($33.64), or you may donate any amount you can toward your spot. We do not want cost to be a barrier to your attendance. If you'd like to donate a bit extra in addition to your spot or donate the cost of a spot for someone altogether, you may also do that. Any amount you wish to contribute is wonderful; no amount is too small, and we are sincerely grateful for your help!

Please note: You will not be charged until we have enough folks registered to cover the cost of all 50 seats on the bus by June 26th, 2017, so please mark your calendars and make your donations soon! Should you be kind enough to donate additional funds along with your seat or pay for someone else's seat and we don't meet the required 50 seats, you will be refunded.

Additionally, your ticketed spot will include light snacks and beverages!

Why We're Joining Impeachment March:

Donald Trump’s extreme disregard for the Constitution is a profound subversion of the Office of the President. Neither do we feel our country is in safe and able hands, and we will not quietly ride out a tenure that threatens our democracy and way of life. We demand that Congress stop enabling President Trump through an embarrassing and potentially catastrophic charade of normalcy. The Constitution gives the House of Representatives the sole power to impeach an official, and it makes the Senate the sole court for impeachment trials. It is time that congressional representatives do their job and start the process to impeach this president. We believe president Trump has committed constitutional breaches, consistently lied, cheated, and enforces laws that primarily benefit him and his billionaire friends at the expense of the country. The future of American Democracy rests in their hands.
